Adobe Thermo Preview Demo - 360 Flex Conference

If you attended the Adobe MAX Conference in Chicago last year, you probably caught a glimpse of Thermo, Adobe's soon to be released companion to Flex. I just discovered this video recently posted to the InsideRIA site and it is probably the one of the few public preview's of this software since MAX 2007. The prospect of what we will be able to do with FXG is pretty fascinating. BTW - If you are not familiar with Brightcove, it is the venture of Jeremy Allaire co-founder Allaire Corporation which created the web development tool ColdFusion.

Still seeking good reasons to attend the Adobe MAX Conference in San Francisco this year? Add Adobe Thermo to your list. Since the sneak peak at MAX last year, I have been referring to Thermo as "the Photoshop for designing Flex applications". This may not be the best way to describe this software but basically it is a tool that will take its place in the design workflow of RIA design/development. Design your Flex application in Fireworks, import to Thermo to prep for Flex, then export to Flex - connect to the data and make your Flex application work!
