Atlanta ColdFusion User Group Meeting

Bummer! The undisputed heavy weight champion of the ColdFusion world - Ben Forta - is live in Atlanta tonight giving demos of Scorpio .... and I am missing the show. However, between the live Acrobat Connect sessions that Adobe has been publishing and the 2007 MAX conference in Chicago, I am sure there will be plenty of information coming down the pipeline very soon.

Btw ~ Rumor has it that Scorpio will be on Adobe Labs around the end of this month!

The Silicon Valley Flex User Group

With a re-newed interest in ActionScript and the technologies surrounding the Adobe Flash Player, I am soaking up every ounce of information that I can find. Although, I am in the midnight trenches right now cranking through  the FLEX 2.0 Training from the Source book, (will post a review at halfway point and end of book) I also have lunch breaks and other times where I can slam dunk a simple tutorial or learning module. One of the most interesting resources that I have found is the site forThe Silicon Valley Flex User Group. Using the power of Adobe Acrobat Connect, they are doing a great job of recording the meetings for playback. They are publishing a revolving 6-part series that will help you get started with Flex if you are new to the game! Here you can learn from some of the best in the business straight from the Adobe offices in San Francisco, CA.
