2008 Adobe MAX Conference, San Francisco, CA

Adobe Systems has announced the dates and locations for the 2008 MAX worldwide conferences. Adobe MAX 2008/2009 Conferences will be held in San Francisco, California, Milan, Italy and Tokyo, Japan. MAX 2008 North America will be held on November 16 - 19, 2008.
The Adobe MAX Conference Call for speakers is now open. This conference is the premiere software event of the year and the 2008 show is scheduled to be held in San Francisco, California. If you have suggestions for who you would like to hear and what you would like to see, now is the time to let them know.
The Flex 360 event that is scheduled for Atlanta this year seems to have a great line up of speakers. I am looking forward to attending this conference and Sterling Ledet and Associates is pleased to be offering some attractive door prizes and discounts to the attendees of this event.
The winner of each door prize will receive a complementary seat in the five day Adobe Authorizedc Flex Training class (value of $2490.00). Winners can also swap out the Flex training for another Adobe software training class of their choice.
On top of these two sweet prizes, we are offering a 10% discount code to all attendees of 360|Flex.
Not registered for 360|Flex? What're you waiting for? Do it!
The session speakers and topics for the MAX conference 2007 have now been publshed to the Adobe MAX website. The subject matter looks somewhat similar to last years conference with quite a few of the same speakers. Looks like it will be a pretty good show, but I would imagine that it will be a difficult follow up to last year's show in Las Vegas. Here are some of the sessions that I will definitely be attending. See you there....
Stefan Cameron - Hands On: Designing PDF Forms and Flex-based Form Guides
Christian Cantrel - HTML and Script Bridging for Flex Applications in Adobe Integrated Runtime
David Coletta - Optimizing Flex Applications
Mike Downey - Top AIR Applications: Visualizing the Possibilities of a New Platform
Daniel Dura - Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR) Tips and Tricks
Jun Heider - Optimizing ActionScript 3.0 Performance
Kevin Hoyt - Using Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR) APIs
Tom Jordahl - Using ColdFusion With LiveCycle Data Services
Ted Patrick - Flex Best Practices
Jeff Vroom - Advanced LiveCycle Data Services for Flex Developers
The Registration for the Adobe MAX Conference in Chicago is now open! And ... there is a sweet deal that was just published for teams wanting to attend MAX. It seems to be the best deal that will be offered regardless of any promotional codes. Check out the 3 for 2 Group Discount to the MAX for $730. Just select "3 for 2" on page 2 of Registration and you are good to go at probably what will be the lowest ticket price.
This week in Atlanta, GA, Sterling Ledet and Associates will be on the exhibit floor of the ASTD Conference in full force. The ASTD (American Society for Training & Development) Conference will be three and a half days of learning and networking with the industry’s leading speakers, training suppliers, and experts who will provide insight into the latest trends in learning and performance.
If you are at the conference or in Atlanta next week, please stop by our exhibit booth or let us know you are in town. We will have state of the art iMac systems running Mac OSX and Windows at our exhibit and I will be on the floor to demo the new features of Adobe Dreamweaver CS3, Adobe Flash CS3, Adobe Fireworks CS3, Adobe Flex, and ColdFusion 8.
Adobe Has now announced the 2007 Adobe MAX Awards program that will highlight some of the most creative and professional work that has surfaced on the web over the past year. It is always fun to see the finalists presented at the MAX conference and discover what people are doing in the different Adobe software programs. There are seven categories and anyone can submit a nomination from your own company or nominate other work that you have seen on the web! See you at the MAX in Chicago!
Plan ahead to join Sterling Ledet and Associates and your peers from around the world, at MAX 2007. Embracing the Web 2.0 spirit, this year Adobe has launched the MAX 2007 Blog at Blogspot.
