Pacific Beach - San Diego, California
If you ever make your way out to Sunny San Diego, California, you may want to check out Pacific Beach. Since I am here training ColdFusion and Dreamweaver this week, I made the trip to PB Bar and Grill for some good eats and the final moments of when the sun drops into the Pacific Ocean. Here you can walk out on Crystal Pier and see the surfers looking for the perfect wave. It is always lively here with lots of locals and turists having fun.
This trip I noticed a nice hotel/restaurant right on the beachfront that must be new. Tower 23 is an upscale but casual atmosphere where I felt right at home meeting some of the locals. As the sun was setting the place seems to light up with friendly locals and a really cool ambient reflection on a 75-foot long "wave wall" at the back of the restaurant. This is definitely a destination of choice!
